Oil Changes in Glenview
Changing your oil at suggested intervals is probably the single most important thing you can do to make your vehicle last.
Aside from having many more grades of oil for your vehicle, there are now more types. There is full synthetic, semi-synthetic and we still have conventional as well. Because of all of these changes, the service intervals have changed.
Some of today's cars tell you when to change your oil. This can be anywhere from 3,000 miles to upwards of 10,000 miles. Based on our experiences we recommend synthetics be changed every 5,000 miles and the semi-synthetics and conventional be done at the standard 3,000 miles. We understand many manufacturers do these at longer intervals, that is becausing they are doing it for free. The reason we recommend our way is we have been seeing more expensive engine service later on after the warranty is over.
